Dennis Owen Robinson

Dennis Owen Robinson of Uvalde, Texas died on April 20, 2025, at his home.

A memorial service will be held at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 3 p.m.

He was born on July 23, 1948, in Odessa, Texas to Betty Jean (Lewis) and Roland Robinson.

He served in the US Army, 101st Airborne Division in the Vietnam war as a highly decorated Long Range Reconnaissance Patrol soldier.

He was a banker to 50+ years in Texas and retired as President and CEO of Uvalde National Bank. He was married to Julie Robinson for 41 years.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Robinson of Uvalde, daughter, Shalece Pollack of Burleson; son, Christopher Robinson of Uvalde; daughter, Jamie Kimbrough of San Antonio; and grandchildren, Madison Kimbrough and Conner Kimbrough of San Antonio.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Jean Robinson; daughter, Amy Robinson; and brothers, Richard Maness and Michael Kelly.

Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. His ashes will be strewn at a later date.
