Diana S. Navejar

Diana S. Navejar, 100, of Pleasanton, Texas formerly of Uvalde, passed away on February 5, 2024, at The Heights of Atascosa in Pleasanton, Texas.  

Visitation will be held on Wed. Feb. 14, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thurs. Feb. 15, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.  She was born on February 21, 1923, in Eagle Pass, Texas to Elvira (Rodriguez) and Federico De Los Santos.   

She married Alejos Navejar on July 26, 1942 in Uvalde, Texas.  

She is survived by her daughter, Carmen Gomez of Pleasanton; son, Oscar Navejar of Uvalde; grandchildren, Ryan Gomez, Michelle Gomez, Erica Caldwell, and Sonia Navejar; and great grandchildren, Dillon De Leon, Destiny De Leon, Everett Gomez, Ashley Caldwell, Lee Caldwell, Reyleen Morales, Ted Morales, and Ryan Hernandez.  

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, three brothers, Abelardo Santos, Bernardo Santos, and Manuel Santos; grandson, Oscar Navejar, Jr.; and sister, Armandina Morales.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Gomez, Everett Gomez, Oscar Navejar, Dillon De Leon, Lee Caldwell, and Ryan Hernandez
