Dionicio Vera of La Pryor passed away at Uvalde Memorial Hospital on September 19, 2011 at the age of 88. He was born on October 28, 1922 to Pablo and Romanita Nanies Vera in Encinal, Texas. He is survived by his daughter, Maria Duarte of La Pryor, sister, Manuela Garza of Crystal City, brother, Santos Vera of La Pryor, two grandchildren, eight greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Ofelia P. Vera, daughter, Maria Del Rosario Vera, son, Juan Vera, sister, Antonia Castillo and brother,,Rafael Vera Sr. Graveside services will be held on Saturday September 24, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at La Pryor Cemtery.
