Dolores Rodriguez

Dolores Rodriguez of Uvalde passed away on Monday, September 7, 2015 at her residence at the age of 62. She was born on November 29, 1952 in Eagle Pass to Eloisa Montalvo and Braulio Rodriguez. She is survived by her husband Raul Gonzales of Uvalde; five daughters, Eloisa Sanchez of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Laura Larralde and husband Rolando of Plainview, Esmeralda Rodriguez of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Esperanza Escamilla and husband Luis of Uvalde and Yolanda Gonzales also of Uvalde; one son, Cesar Rodriguez of Espaniola, New Mexico; three sisters, Lucille Rodriguez and Margarita Rodriguez both from Albuquerque, New Mexico and Rosa Castañeda of Piedras Negras; one brother, Feliciano Rodriguez of Piedras Negras; twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by daughter Maria Elena Rodriguez, sister, Maria De Jesus Castañeda and two brothers, Heriberto Ortiz and Braulio Rodriguez Jr.
A rosary will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 and Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 10:00 am with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Cesar Rodriguez, Rolando Larralde, Raul Larralde, Ryan Larralde, Yanier Ramirez and Luis Escamilla. Honorary pallbearers are Nehemiah Larralde and Antonio Escamilla.
