Dolores Rubio

Dolores Torres Rubio of Uvalde passed away on November 3, 2014 at her residence at the age of 92. She was born on April 7, 1922 in Mexico to Francisco and Hilaria Dominquez Torres. She is survived by three daughters, Petra Torres of Maryland Blanca Estella Puente and Sylvia Rubio both from Uvalde one son, Jose T. Rubio of Virginia stepdaughter, Berta R. Alonzo of Uvalde seven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Flores Rubio parents, one sister, Telesfora Perez four brothers, Urbano Torres, Fidel Torres, Francisco Torres and Julian Torres and one grandson, Alberto Osuna. A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 and Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 7:00 pm at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, October 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
