Dolores Samarripa

Dolores M. Samarripa of Uvalde passed away on May 12, 2013 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 78. She was born on August 14, 1934 in Cline, Texas to Jose and Consuelo Saucedo Martinez. She married Raul G. Samarripa on April 18, 1954 in Uvalde. She is survived by her husband of 59 years daughters, Elsa Samarripa, Elma Samarripa both of Uvalde son, Hector Samarripa of Sonora sisters, Virginia Mireles, Cristina Martinez, brother, Jesus Martinez all of Uvalde grandchildren, David Samarripa, Renee Samarripa, Joaquin Watson and Madison Watson and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents son, Rene Samarripa, brothers, Jose Martinez and Antonio Martinez. A rosary will be held on Monday, May 13, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Albert Mireles, Beto Rodriguez, Roland Canales, Danny Martinez, Ruben Garcia and Joe Martinez.
