Dominga Gomez Ybarra of Sabinal passed away on February 13, 2015 at Hondo Health Care and Rehab in Hondo, Texas at the age of 87. She was born on August 21, 1927 in Sabinal to Juan and Camila (Villasana) Gomez. She is survived by daughters; Maria Garcia and husband Frank of Illinois, Patricia Medrano of Sabinal; sons, Thomas Ybarra and wife Maria of Knippa, Rene Ybarra and Isaac Javier Ybarra both of Sabinal; brothers, Simon Hernandez and wife Lana of Las Vegas, Nevada and Victor Lopez and wife Florinda of Seguin; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents husband Juan G. Ybarra Sr.; sons, Juan Ybarra Jr. and Dario Ybarra; daughter, Josefina Ybarra. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church with burial to follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.
