Donald Mathis

Mr. Donald Mathis of Uvalde passed away Friday April 23, 2021 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.  He was born on May 10, 1937 to Melvin Mathis and Ora Bell Morrison in Steel, Missouri.

Donald married Margie Batchelor in Senath, Missouri on April 14, 1962.

Donald is survived by his wife Margie; two daughters, Angela Turner and husband, Glen, and Pamela Lucas and husband, Albert; two sons, Brian Mathis and Melvin Mathis all of Uvalde; sister, Etta Swan and husband, Harold of Big Rock, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brian Mathis, Jr. of Washington, Deanna Miller of Houston, Cheyanne Miller, Jessica Turner, Aubree Turner, and Quinten Mathis all of Uvalde.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday April 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. on the family ranch.
