Donald Munderback Sr.

Donald D. Munderback Sr. of Uvalde passed away on Friday, April 8, 2016 in San Antonio at the age of 68. Mr. Munderback was born on April 2, 1948 in San Antonio to Donald B. Munderback and Gladiola Bracken. He married Anna E. Eliot on March 18, 1989 in San Antonio. Mr. Munderback is survived by his wife of 27 years of Uvalde; daughter, Jodi Munderback of Colorado Springs; three sons, Frank Munderback of Del Rio, David Munderback of Colorado Springs, and Donald Munderback Jr. of Uvalde; grandchildren, Samantha Munderback, Frank Munderback Jr. of Del Rio, Chanceine Munderback, Prudence Munderback and Titan Munderback of Colorado Springs. He is preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Carl Dietzel.
He served in the US Army from 1967 to 1988 and did 2 tours in Vietnam.
Family visitation will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held on Friday , April 15, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.
