Doris Vanham

Doris Mahon Vanham of Uvalde passed away on December 20, 2016 at The Veranda at the age of 97. She was born on November 28, 1919 in Gonzales, TX to Ernest Clifton Mahon and Alice Elizabeth Pouncey Mahon. She is survived by a son, Mark Vanham of Uvalde; brother, Willis Mahon and wife, Mary of Dallas; three grandchildren, Riley Vanham, Sr., Colby Vanham, and Brady Vanham; one great-grandchild, Riley Vanham, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ernest Clifton Mahon, Jr. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in Uvalde. Burial will be at 2:30 PM in Dilley Cemetery, Dilley, TX. Pallbearers will be Ray King, Vann McElroy, Clark Ward, Jim Willingham, Heath Sutherland, and John Harrell.
