Dorothy Mikes

Dorothy Mikes went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday September 18, 2013 at the age of 87. She was born in Kenedy, Texas on August 13, 1926 to David Lee and Clara Thomas Dees. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Mikes, Sr., son Clyde William Mikes, daughter Betty Ann Mikes and grandchildren Susan Gayle Hotz and David Sansom, Jr.. She was loved and cherished by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her son Robert Mikes, Jr. of Uvalde daughters Dorothy Jean Hotz and husband Charles of Cuero, Texas, Helen Gajdusek and husband David of Victoria, Mary Sansom and husband David of Uvalde and Judy Gleason and husband Keith of Uvalde. Grandchildren Terry Lynette, Charles Edward Hotz, Joseph Gajdusek and wife Angela, Anthony Hotz and wife Tina, Wendy Mikes, Brandie Sansom Parker and Special friend Kevin Wise, Jason Gleason and wife Anna Lisa Perez, and Sherry Isaacks and husband Brad of Port Lavaca. 17 greatgrandchildren and numerous neices and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Gleason, Joseph Gajudsek, Anthony Hotz, Charles Edward Hotz, Joshua Lugo and Brad Isaacks, and Honorary Pallbearer Matthew Gajdusek. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at Northside Baptist Church in Uvalde. Interment following at Gonzales Memorial Cemetery at 4:00 pm in Gonzales, Texas.
