Dorothy Pike

Dorothy Lou Memaw Robinson Pike of Uvalde passed away on January 23, 2013 in San Antonio at the age of 81. She was born on December 14, 1931 in Sabinal, Texas to Ben and Ina Caddell Robinson. She was the youngest of two children. She married John Louis Watkins Pike on July 11, 1953 in Uvalde, Texas. She is survived by her four children, Ina L. Heinen and husband Jessie of Uvalde, Robert L. Pike and wife Maggie of Pipe Creek, Steve M. Pike and wife Debbie of Uvalde and Randy R. Pike of Adkins brother, Aubrey Robinson and wife Sally of Uvalde six grandchildren, Chris Pike and wife Leslie of Devine, Logan Pike of Uvalde, Nolan Pike of Rancho Santa Margarita, California, Stephanie Thayer and husband Nathanial of Uvalde, Amanda Pike of Uvalde and Lance Pike of Plano, J.W. Heinen and wife, Chrissie of Pipe Creek, Marvel Stone and husband Marion of Bandera, Suzan Gonzales of St. Louis Park , Minnesota 19 greatgrandchildren with another one on the way three nephews, Harry Robinson, John Robinson and Brian Robinson. She was preceded in death by her husband John Louis Watkins Pike and parents. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Burial will follow at Rio Frio Cemetery. Mr. Paul Stephens will officiate.
