Eck Horton

Eck McClure Horton of Sabinal passed away on June 1, 2012 at his residence at the age of 93. He was born on December 2, 1918 in Sabinal to Lew and Mary Santleben Horton. He married Margaret Davis in Sabinal on October 23, 1946. He is survived by his wife of 65 years three sons, Douglas Horton and Stephen Horton and wife, Debby, all of Sabinal and Kirk Horton of The Woodlands, TX 7 grandchildren 16 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents a brother, Leroy Horton and daughterinlaw, Kimberly Horton. Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church in Sabinal. Cremation was under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary.
