Edelmira Luna

Edelmira A. Luna of Uvalde passed away on October 17, 2010 in Methodist Hospital at the age of 56. She was born on July 17, 1954 in Hereford, Texas to Benito and Edelmira Arriaga. She married Daniel S. Luna Jr. on August 13, 1970 in Rocksprings, Texas. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Daniel S. Luna Jr. of Uvalde, Texas five daughters Delma Flores and husband, Augustine Jr. of Killeen, Texas Diana Luna of Uvalde, Texas Deflorinda Kalisek and husband, Chad of Pleasanton, Texas Daniella Linda Gallardo and husband, Ivan, of Ft. Bragg North Carolina Deanne Marie Luna of Uvalde one son Daniel S. Luna III of Uvalde, Texas one sister Elida Gonzales of Uvalde, Texas one brother Manuel Zuniga of Plainview, Texas three grandchildren Augustine Flores III Abigail Flores and Cheyenne Luna numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Delia Luna. A rosary will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Luis Zepeda III, Damian Zepeda, Hilberto Zepeda, Enrique Reyes Jr., Ernesto Reyes, and Jeffery Allen.
