Edgar Werth

Edgar Charles Werth of Knippa passed away on January 10, 2008 in Christus Santa Rosa Hospital at the age of 89. He was born on September 12, 1918 in Knippa, Texas to Charles F. and Ella Werth. He was married to Eva Mae Jurick on April 27, 1940 in Knippa, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 67 years; daughters; Lynda J. Harp; Patsy Hasty and husband, Fred all of San Antonio, Tx.; Charlotte Muecke and husband, Travis; Shirley Brice and husband, Michael all of Knippa, Tx.; sister-in-law; Elsie Jane Kuhn of San Antonio, Tx.; brother; Albert Werth of New Braunfels, Tx.; grandsons; Gary Harp; James Harp and wife, Brenda; Michael Harp and wife, Shari; Gerald Hasty; and Timothy Brice; grand daughters; Tammy Hasty and Kristin Brice; great-grandsons; Jared Webb and Clayton Harp; great- grand daughters; Kaylyn Harp; Nicole Harp and Rachel Harp; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister; Edna Kramer; and 2 brothers; Marvin and Walter Kramer. Funeral Services will be on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Knippa, Tx. with burial to follow in Knippa Cemetery Rev. Daryl Knox will officiate. Pallbearers will be grandsons; Gary Harp, James Harp, Michael Harp, Gerald Hasty,Timothy Brice; and close friend John Hasty. Honorary Pallbearers grand daughters; Tammy Hasty and Kristin Brice.
