Edward Gomez

Edward Alexis Gomez of Uvalde passed away on April 20, 2017 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 25. He was born on February 13, 1992 in Dallas to Sandra Gomez.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Gomez and husband, Edwardo Garcia; grandparents, Cecilia Rodriguez, of Nava, Mexico and Susana Garcia of Uvalde; fiancé, Felicia Larralde; son, Edward Armani Gomez; sisters, Thalia Reyna and husband, Robert and Samanta Gonzales; brother, Michael Arellano of Uvalde and Edwardo Garcia all of Uvalde.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fernando Antonio Gomez.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Arellano, Edwardo Garcia, Sr., Edwardo Garcia, Jr., Javier Gomez, Raul Arellano, Jovani Arellano, Daniel Rodriguez, and Luis De La Cruz. Ruben Larralde, Ruben Larralde, Jr., Marcos Cardenas, Enrique Cardenas, Karlos Rodriguez, Victor Rodriguez and Francisco Blanco.
