Edward Haby of Uvalde passed away on February 2, 2010 In Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 91. He was born on August 17, 1918 in Uvalde, Texas to Alphonse and Helen Haby. Haby was preceded in death by his wife Mary Alberta Midgett McClintock on April 21, 1997 his parents two sons, A.A. Pete McClintock and Gene Haby three brothers, Alvin, Eugene and James Haby and three sisters, Hulda Campbell, Cora Smith and Myrtle Howard.He is survived by one sisterinlaw, Juanita Parks of San Antonio two daughters, Gwen McGonagill and husband, Glenn, of Del Rio and Carol Roberts and husband, Al, of Columbia,Tenn. one daughterinlaw, Jeanette Haby of San Antonio 10 grandchildren, Micki Biltz and husband, Tim, Terri Taylor and Patti McGonagill, all of Del Rio, Janie Metts and husband, Jimmy, of Franklin, Tenn., Bill Hinnant and wife, Shelley, of Sandia, Gwen Gutierrez and husband, Larry, of San Antonio, Kelli Quade and husband, Adam, of Bellevue, Neb., and Freddie and Bruce McClintock and Rhonda Masterson, all of Oklahoma 12 greatgrandchildren, Glenn Willard, Tera Willard, Dylan McGonagill, Cory Taylor, Lindsi Taylor, Matthew Hunkin, Mattie Metts, Hunter Metts, Justin Haby, Tyler Quade, Braden Quade and Benjamin Gene Gutierrez one greatgreatgrandaughter, Madison Taylor and nephews and nieces Kenneth Haby and wife, Mona, Janette Sharshel and husband, Roger, Judy Houston and husband, Scott, Garland Midgett and wife, Stella, Cindy Thornton, Jimmy Parks and wife, Liz, and Sharon and Brad Parks.Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with the Rev. Grady Roe officiating. Interment with full military honors will be in Uvalde Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn McGonagill, Lt. Col.Tim Biltz, Bill Hinnant, 2nd Lt. Adam Quade, Kenneth Haby, Garland Midgett, Glenn Willard, Dylan McGonagill, Cory Taylor and Justin Haby.Honorary pallbearers were Al Roberts, Jimmy Parks, Brad Parks, Larry Gutierrez, Craig Garnett, Matthew Hunkin, the members of the Uvalde Lions Club and the members of American Legion Post 26.
