Edward Lee House of Uvalde passed away on October 20, 2012 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 74. He was born on January 22, 1938 in New Castle, Indiana to Alfred and Alma Tulley House.
Ed ran the Texas Gun Shop in Dallas for many years, where he developed his famous Nitex gun finish, before moving to this area in the 1980s. He built and serviced many guns for local hunters and lawenforcement throughout the years.
He is survived by his son, Jeffery Lee House, and partner Nancy House, both of Uvalde. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Robin Hubbard. Cremation was under the direction of RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A private service for friends and family will be held at a later date.
