Edward R. Mann

Edward R. Mann, of Bandera passed away October 8, 2023 in San Antonio TX at the age of 86. He was born on May 18, 1937 in Charlotte TX to Edward Mann and Lily Valchar Mann.

Eddie married Rose Mann on February 5, 1955 in Pleasanton Tx.

He was in the Oil industry for almost 60yrs, and was at one point awarded the “Key to the City” of Kilgore Tx.  He was a Shriner and a proud member of the Masonic Lodge, having served as Worshipful Master for 3 terms. He was awarded his 50yr service award in 2015 and was made a Master Mason in 1963.

He is survived by his sisters Ruby Newman & Lillian Harrell, children Tommy Mann, wife Karol Mann, Jerry Mann, wife Joanna Mann, Karen Grasmick and Kristi Mann. Grandchildren Jessica Tidwell, Kimberly Ferguson and husband, Brent, Klinton Mann, Kori Mann, Jacy Mann & Jake Mann and wife, Loren. Great Grandchildren Tatum Tidwell, Ember Ferguson, Brannon Ferguson & Owen Mann. And his faithful furry companion BB.

Eddie is proceeded in death by his parents Edward and Lily Mann, his sister Joyce Polesek and his wife of 57 years Rose Mann.

Graveside services will be held at the Sunset Hills Cemetery also known as La Pryor Cemetery on October 21, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. , he will be laid to rest beside his wife Rose Mann.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Uvalde or Shriners Children’s Hospital.
