Edwin King

Edwin E. King of Leakey formerly of Uvalde passed away on May 12, 2010 in the Kerrville VA Hospital at the age of 86. He was born on April 28, 1924 in Batesville, Texas to Earl P. and Pearl King. He married Frances Nabours in Batesville, Texas on June 6, 1948. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Frances King of Leakey, Texas one daughter Sherry Grissom and husband, Robert of Lubbock, Texas two sons Glenn King and wife, Marqueta of Gainesville, Texas Ray King and wife, Stephanie of Uvalde, Texas six grandchildren Reagan King, Kelli Snedecor and husband, Scott Macy King, Andrew King, Jared King, and Mason Kellner two great grandchildren Colton and Kallyn Snedecor. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pastor Willis Adair will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Robert Grissom, Reagan King, Andrew King, Jared King, Scott Snedecor and Colton Snedecor.
