Efraim Flores

Efraim Lopez Flores of Sabinal passed away on May 5, 2010 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 88. He was born on October 3, 1921 in Piedras Negras, Mexico to Juan and Raquel Flores. He married Sulema Ozuna in Sabinal, Texas on January 16, 1949. He is survived by three daughters Herminia Ewalt and husband, Fred of Fargo, N.D Ruth Sanchez and husband, Peter of Sabinal, Texas and Sarah Graves and husband, David of Carrizo Spring, Texas two sons Efraim O. Flores Jr. of North Carolina and Jeff O. Ozuna of Tucson, Arizona two sisters Selena Darling of Tuscaloosa, Alabama and Esperanza Gonzales of San Antonio, Texas eight grandchildren ten great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents wife grandson Clinton Ewalt and four brothers Alfonso Flores, Ruben Flores, Hector Flores and Enrique Flores. A viewing will begin on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 5:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel in Uvalde. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 10:00 AM at Central Christian Church in Sabinal with burial to follow in Sabinal Cemetery.
