Eileen Ruff

Rosalie Eileen Ruff of Uvalde passed away on June 2, 2016 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 88. She was born on November 23, 1927 in Sabinal to William B. and Nettie (Durham) Connor. She married Robert Ruff in Hondo in 1955. He preceded her in death in 1985. She is survived by a step-daughter, Juanita Karbler and family of Vickery, OH, a sister-in-law, Olivia Connor Allen of Uvalde who was married to her late brother, William B Connor Jr.; and nephews, William D. Connor and wife, Rose of Uvalde; Bryan T. Connor and wife, Nicola of Denton, a niece, Patricia Bjork and husband, Dale of Georgetown, and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews. Cremation is under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Rio Frio Cemetery.
