Elena Martinez

Mrs. Elena G. Martinez of Uvalde passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation at the age of 69. Mrs. Martinez was born on November 06, 1946 in Uvalde to Angel and Manuela (Rodriguez) Gomez. She married Florencio Martinez in Uvalde in the year 1996. She is survived by her husband of 20 years; four sons, Oscar Bustamante, Ervey Bustamante, Arnoldo Bustamante all of Uvalde and Ernesto Bustamante of Fort Worth; two sisters, Angelita Aguinaga of Uvalde and Janie G. Riddle of Seguin; one brother, Antonio Rodriguez of Uvalde; six grandchildren, six great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Antonio Gomez. A prayer service will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Templo Cristiano. Cremation under direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
