Elisa Silva

Elisa Silva of Uvalde passed away on Friday, October 10, 2014 at the age of 82. She was born on December 6, 1931 in DHanis, Tx. to Sabino and San Juana Cortez Reyes. She married Manuel Campos Silva on March 26, 1950. She is survived by three daughters, Maria Silva of Uvalde Elsa Arreola of Uvalde and Yolanda Serna and husband, Raul Jr. of Houston two sons, Jesse Silva and wife, Maria Guadalupe and Roberto Polanco both of Uvalde brother, Gabino Reyes of DHanis 6 grandchildren Rene Aguilar, Jennifer Arreola, Christopher Serna, Jonathan Serna, Stephanie Serna and Kassandra Serna three stepgrandchildren , Veronica Reyes, Raymond Danny Martinez and Luis Martinez, 6 great grandchildren Krystalle Aguilar, Augustin Aguilar, Alex Aguilar, Anthony Aguilar, Kalleigh Aguilar and Natalia Mae Garza and nine stepgreatgrandchildren Savannah Martinez, Synnora Jeann Reyes, Slaytonn Jeann Reyes, Devlin Gage Martinez, Davian Rae Martinez, Davanie Suir Martinez, Kassidy Martinez, Gisselle Martinez and Kaia Renee Martinez and 4 greatgreat grandchildren Krystallen Garcia, Adrian Rene Aguilar, Lydia Marie Aguilar and Olivia Nicole Aguilar numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sisters Herminia Reyes and Eulogia Pargas, brothers Cruz Reyes, Frank Reyes and Santos Reyes. A rosary will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary and a vigil will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
