Eliseo Gonzales

Eliseo T. Gonzales of Uvalde passed away on March 25, 2017 at his residence at the age of 87. He was born on August 28, 1929 in Montell to Jose Maria and Jesusita (Trevino) Gonzales.
He is survived by his wife, Carmela Silva Gonzales of Uvalde; daughters, Mary Ann Towne of Uvalde, Delia Nava of Grand Berry and Catherine Jo Ramirez of Kingsville; sons, Eliseo C. Gonzales, Jr. of San Antonio and Robert Gonzales of Uvalde; sister, Delia Canales of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Michael Anthony Gonzales, Frank J. Mendoza, Alfred Villarreal, Jr., Jennifer Barnett, Sarah Mitchell, Ross Mendoza, Jessica Gonzales, Christina Nava, Matthew Jacob Mendoza, Elisa Gonzales, Michael Hauck, Bailey Allison Towne, and Kailey Irene Gonzales; 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Alejandro Gonzales and Pablo Gonzales; son, Santiago Gonzales and his first wife, Helena Gonzales
A rosary will be held on Monday and Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Michael Hauck, Michael Gonzales, Frank Mendoza, Ross Mendoza, Matthew Mendoza, Alejandro "Hondo" Gonzales, Nicholas Gonzales, Chase McLean and Jason Garza. Honorary pallbearers will be Glen Muecke, Alfred Villarreal and Kailey Gonzales.
