Elisia Vasquez

Elisia R. Vasquez of Batesville passed away on June 25, 2015 in Amistad Nursing Home at the age of 71. She was born on September 20, 1943 in Tyler, TX to Domingo Ramon and Margarita Benavides Ramon. She is survived by a daughter, Amy Rios and husband, Esvardo of Batesville; son, Jesse Vasquez of Batesville; sister, Virginia Prado of Uvalde; three brothers, Manuel Ramon of Wolforth, TX; and Peter Paul Ramon and Genaro Ramon, both of Lubbock, TX; three grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ventura Vasquez; daughter, Corina Aguilar; brothers, Jesse Ramon, Joe Ramon, Agapito Ramon, and Juan Ramon; sister, Rosemary de los Santos; and grandson, Leo Angel Rios. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 3:00 PM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Batesville with burial to follow in Batesville Cemetery.
