Elizabeth Gonzalez

Elizabeth Gonzalez of Uvalde passed away on July 16, 2015 in San Antonio after a short illness, at the age of 88. She was born on October 20, 1926, in Premont, to Guadalupe Grimaldo Hernandez and Jose Angel Hernandez. She married Ricardo G. Gonzalez on August 13, 1949, in Falfurrias. He preceded her in death in 1983. She is survived by one daughter Diana and her husband William Rodriguez of San Angelo, three sons Robert Gonzalez of Carrollton, Joel Gonzalez of Austin, and Homer Gonzalez and his wife Esmeralda of San Antonio; three sisters Lydia Hernandez Tricky of Austin, Ester Wennerstrand of Sturgeon Bay Wisconsin; two brothers Daniel Hernandez of Austin, and David Hernandez; and two grandsons Sebastian (Will) Rodriquez and Konner Gonzalez. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Virginia Daniels. Services will be Tuesday July 21, at 10:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
