Elizabeth Merritt

Elizabeth Gaye Merritt of Uvalde passed away on November 6, 2010 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 69. She was born on April 11, 1941 in Uvalde to Arthur and Jimmie Cummings Dean. She is survived by two sons, Cody Smith and Jay Merritt and wife, Rebecca daughter, Kelley Smith, all of Uvalde sister, Jimmie Ruth Coleman of Georgetown, TX two grandchildren, Caden Smith and Sunni Merritt numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins and best friend, Judy Berry. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel with burial to follow in Uvalde Cemetery. Rev. Jerry Scott will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tommy Dee Seargeant Tommy Natho Jim Paul Natho Jace Natho Dean Coleman Dale Coleman Bob Coleman and Joe Tom Haby.
