Elmar Robert Bob Goff of Utopia passed away on August 26, 2011 at South Texas Veterans Health Care System in Kerrville at the age of 87. He was born on August 27, 1923 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to George and Mary Weiske Goff. He married Allie Reavis in San Antonio on May 26, 1956. He is survived by his wife of 55 years three sisters, Ann Randall of Waupaka, WI Pearl ODonohue of King, WI and Evelyn Townsend of Trego, MT daughter, Rachel Murray and husband, Buck of Pipe Creek son, Jonathan Goff and wife, Kelly of Vanderpool seven grandchildren, Amanda Piper Jeremy Murray Joshua Goff Zachary Murray Naomi Goff Catherine Murray and Rachael Murray and four greatgrandchildren, Tabitha Piper Isaac Piper Luke Piper and Elise Murray. He was preceded in death by his parents four brothers one sister daughter, Naomi Ruth Goff and granddaughter, Tabitha Joy Murray. Mr. Goff served with the 101st Airborne in WWII and was pastor of the Gospel Tabernacle in Utopia for 54 years. The family will greet guests on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 from 6:008:00 PM at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Gospel Tabernacle with burial to follow in Jones Cemetery. Pastor Gerald Hughes will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joshua Goff Jeremy Murray Zachary Murray Brice Patton Sam Patton and Justin Piper. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Monsive Barney Cabra Richard Lambert David Dodge Henry Patton Ellsworth Townsend Richard Gomez and Tom Mafolo.
