Elodia Soto

Elodia R. Beve Soto of Uvalde passed away on October 8, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 87. She was born on July 25, 1921 in Uvalde, Texas to Fernando and Juanita Riojas. She is survived by three daughters; Orfelinda Rosas of San Antonio, Texas; Mary Rodriguez of Uvalde, Texas: and Dora Elia Gomez and husband Tomas of San Antonio. Two brothers; Fernando Riojas Jr and Gilberto Riojas both of Uvalde. Fourteen grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Pedro Soto Sr.; son Pedro Soto Jr.; daughter Olga Polanco; Grandsons James Polanco, Pedro Soto III and Willie Rodriguez; great grandson; Chris Faz. A rosary will be held on Thursday and Friday at 7:00 PM at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
