Elpidio Buantello, Sr.

Elpidio F. Buantello, Sr. of Uvalde passed away on January 28, 2012 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 84. He was born on June 1, 1927 in Uvalde to Tomas and Felis Flores Buantello. He married Angelita Hernandez in Uvalde on September 3, 1948. He is survived by his wife of 63 years seven daughters, Teodosa B. Gonzalez and husband, Jose of Uvalde Mary Lou Padilla and husband, George of Grand Prairie, TX Norma Gauna and husband, Nick of Jarrell, TX Otilia Enriquez and husband, Ronald of Burleson, TX Rosalie B. McDaniel and husband, Jack, and Angie Lugo and husband, Donald all of Georgetown, TX and Bertha Sifuentes and husband, Mark of New Braunfels, TX three sons, Elpidio Buantello, Jr. and wife, Janie of Austin Albert Buantello of Uvalde and Juan Buantello and wife, Sandra of Cedar Park, TX sister, Rosa B. Gonzalez and husband, Robert of Uvalde brothers, Julian F. Buantello and Jose F. Buantello, both of Uvalde 33 grandchildren 48 greatgrandchildren 4 greatgreatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tomas and Felis Buantello three brothers, Rosendo F. Buantello Tomas F. Buantello, Jr. and Armando F. Buantello, grandson, Julian Buantello, Blaine Buantello and daughterinlaw,Elaine Mae Buantello. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Jose J. Gonzalez, Jr. Eric Elpidio Buantello Michael Buantello George B. Padilla Martin B. Padilla Eddie B. Garza Joseph A. Buantello and Thomas R. Crow. Honorary pallbearers will be Elpidio S. Buantello III Ricardo Buantello Mark B. Sifuentes Brandon B. Lugo Joe B. Crow and Antonio Enriquez.
