Elsa Quiroga

Elsa R. Quiroga of Uvalde passed away on November 16, 2019 in San Antonio at the age of 79. She was born on November 2, 1940 in Uvalde to Leobardo and Carmen (Gonzales).

She married Indalecio R. Quiroga in Uvalde on August 2, 1958.

Elsa was a wonderful daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great -grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed sewing clothes for her family, crocheting blankets, she enjoyed music and singing. She was a great cook and enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Indalecio R. Quiroga "Lecho" of Uvalde; children, Elizabeth Q. Rangel (Manuel Rangel), Stella Q. Romero, Andy R.Quiroga (Darlene Moreno) and special niece Aida Hernandez (Paul Hernandez) all of Uvalde; brother, Leobardo Ramos, Jr. of San Antonio; grandchildren: Marysa Q. Martinez, Cristina R. Evans (Gene Evans), Manny Rangel (Gabriella Villarreal), Krystle Rangel, Daniel (Nino) Romero, Gerry Romero (Vanessa Romero), George Samson, Jimmy Olivarez, Alexis Quiroga and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will begin on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A rosary will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
