Elsa Vasquez

Elsa L. Vasquez of Uvalde passed away on February 17, 2009 in her residence at the age of 63. She was born on April 27, 1945 in Uvalde, Texas to Jose and Julia Vasquez. She is survived by three sons; Michael Moreno of Concan, Texas; Solomon Moreno of Jacksonville, Florida; and Marco E. Vasquez of Uvalde, Texas; one sister; Mary Chapoy of Uvalde, Texas; two brothers; Hector Vasquez of Pearsall, Texas; and Rojelio Vasquez of Burley, Idaho; three grandchildren; Annalisa Blanca Moreno; Talithah Julia Vasquez; and Solomon Alejandro Moreno; step-grandchildren; Gabriel Mata and Iziah Mata, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; Rene, Ernesto, and Joe Vasquez Jr. Cremation under the direction of Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.
