Eluterio Rodriguez

Eluterio T. Rodriguez of Uvalde passed away on January 11, 2010 in Downtown Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 60. He was born on March 5, 1949 in Hondo, Texas to Eluterio and Angelita Rodriguez. He married Amelia Arreola in Uvalde, Texas on July 8, 1966. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Amelia Rodriguez of Uvalde, Texas two daughters Delma Rodriguez and husband, Raul Vasquez Julie Martinez and companion, Ernest Zamora all of Uvalde, Texas one son Eluterio Rodriguez Jr. and companion, Dorothy Saiz of Uvalde, Texas two sister Irene Cano and Guadalupe Martinez both of Uvalde, Texas six brothers Daniel Rodriguez, Rolando Rodriguez, Edward Rodriguez, Gilbert Rodriguez, and Richard Rodriguez all of Uvalde, Texas and Jesus Rodriguez of Ohio seven grandchildren three great grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at 2:00 PM in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Raul Vasquez III, Juan M. Martinez III, Arturo Gomez, Raul Gomez, Gilbert Perez, and Jimmy Munoz. Honorary pallbearer will be Eluterio Rodriguez Jr.
