Elvira Flores

Elvira F. Flores of Uvalde passed away on August 23, 2011 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 87. She was born on July 5, 1924 in Uvalde to Pedro and Martina Arredondo Flores. She is survived by her daughter Delia Marie Lopez of Santa Paula, California, grandchildren Renee Lopez, Eloy Lopez Jr. and Tammy Lynn Craver, 8 greatgrandchildren, 9 greatgreat grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gilbert A. Rosales, brothers George A. Valle and Rodolfo Arredondo. A rosary will be held on Wednesday August 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rushing Estes Knowles Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday August 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Uvalde Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Sonny Cordova, Vicente Gonzales, Eloy Lopez, Ricardo Perez, Robert Flores and Cruz Hernandez.
