Elvira Flores

Elvira Gonzales Flores of Uvalde passed away at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde on August 28, 2013 at the age of 88. She was born on June 1, 1925 in Campwood to Vicente and Catarina Gonzales. She is survived by her daughter, Enriquetta Jimenez and husband Manuel of Uvalde sons, Homer Valle of Uvalde and Ernesto Flores Jr. and wife Linda of Carrizo Springs brother , Arturo Gonzales and wife Yolanda of Uvalde grandchildren, Margaret Salinas, Deanna Cook, Geneva Silva, Ernesto Flores III and Iris Jimenez 10 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ernesto M. Flores parents sisters, Amelia Flores, Santos Castro and Guadalupe Cuellar and brother, Vicente Gonzales. A rosary will be held on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eleazar Salinas, Erron Salinas, Elliott Salinas, Elexander Salinas, Henry Silva, Jeremy Silva, Ernesto Flores IV and Ethan Flores.
