Enrique Torres

Enrique Amescua Torres of Sabinal passed away on August 6, 2014 at St. Lukes Hospital in San Antonio at the age of 78. He was born on April 26, 1936 in Uvalde to Hilario and Minerva Amescua Torres Sr. He married Martina Rodriguez on March 25, 1958 in Sabinal. He is survived by his wife of 56 years daughters, Diana Torres and husband Guadalupe, Amanda Torres all of Sabinal Norma Soto and husband Jesus Rogelio of Del Rio sister, Lupita Hernandez and husband Tino of Comfort sister in law, Mine Torres of Sabinal 8 grandchildren, Melanie Escamilla and husband Jessie, Guadalupe Torres Jr., Jesus Rogelio Soto Jr., Xavier Torres, Jose Luis Medina III, Marisa Liliana Soto, Encarnacion Jorge Soto and wife Clarissa and Maricela Torres 2 great grandchildren, Rielynn Jo Medina and Jorge Encarnacion Soto and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents brother, Hilario Torres Jr. and sister, Cruzita Torres A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, August 11, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Sabinal. Burial will be held at the Sabinal Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Guadalupe Torres Jr., Xavier Torres, Jesus Rogelio Soto Jr., Encarnacion Jorge Soto, Jose Luis Medina III and Jessie Escamilla. Honorary pallbearers will be Melanie Escamilla, Marisa Liliana Soto and Marcela Torres.
