Erlinda Luna

Erlinda Flores Luna of Uvalde passed away on December 16, 2015 at Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde at the age of 78. She was born on March 23, 1937 in Mexico to Zaragoza and Manuela (Cruz) Flores. She married Armand Luna in Musquiz, Coahuila, Mexico on June 2, 1956. She is survived by her daughters, Alicia Santos and husband Arnulfo, Irma Gonzalez, Armandina Patino all of San Antonio, Rosalinda Castillo and husband Baldo, Lydia Santos and husband Victor Sr. and Elsa Barboza and husband Fermin all of Uvalde; son, Antonio Luna and wife Maricela of Uvalde; sister, Maria Elena Hernandez of San Antonio; brothers, Manuel Flores and Doroteo Flores both of Uvalde; nineteen grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren; best friend Odilia Flores of Uvalde; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Armando L. Luna, parents, sister, Josefina Lozano, brother� Raymundo Flores.
A rosary will be held on Friday, December 18, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in La Pryor with burial to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Uvalde.
Pallbearers will be Arnulfo Santos Jr., Victor Santos Jr., Abel Castillo, Antonio Luna Jr., Ricardo Trevino II and Jerry Cano.
