Erma Perez

Erma G. Perez of San Antonio, formerly of Uvalde, passed away on November 27, 2017 at her residence at the age of 58. She was born on September 21, 1959 in La Junta, CO to Gilbert Garcia, Sr. and Dolores Mojica Garcia. She married Enrique Perez in Uvalde on March 6, 1993. She is survived by her husband of 24 years; mother, Dolores Garcia of Uvalde; three daughters, Blanca Antu and companion, Inez Perez, Jr. and Sarah Perez, all of Uvalde; and Monica Garcia and husband, Mark of San Antonio; son, Ricky Garcia, Sr. and companion, Angie Vasquez of Uvalde; three sisters, Maria Briseno; Martina Alvarez; and Maria Garcia, all of Uvalde; five brothers, Gilbert Garcia, Jr.; Juan Garcia; Eloy Garcia; Martin Garcia; and Fidencio Garcia, all of Uvalde; fifteen grandchildren, Yesenia Lopez; Beverly Lopez; Aaliyah Lopez; E.J. Lopez; Ricky Garcia, Jr.; Ryan Garcia; Jimmy Arreola, Jr.; Justin Arreola; Sabryna Garcia; Marcos Garcia; Katarina Vasquez; Jose Luis Vasquez, Jr.; Karolina Vasquez; Mark Garcia, Jr.; and Ariana Garcia; and one great-granddaughter, Paisley Luna. She was preceded in death by her father. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, Dec. 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be E.J. Lopez; Ricky Garcia, Jr.; Jimmy Arreola; Ryan Garcia; Jose Luis Vasquez, Jr.; Justin Arreola; and Mark Garcia, Jr.
