Ermandina Carmona

Ermandina C. Carmona of Uvalde passed away on April 5, 2009 in Amistad Nursing Home in Uvalde, Texas at the age of 88. She was born on December 2, 1920 in Uvalde, Texas to Serapio and Antonia Chapa. She married Jose Luis Carmona in Uvalde, Texas. She is survived by two sisters; Evangelina Chapa and Enadina Perez both from Uvalde, Texas; one brother; Leroy Chapa from Uvalde, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Luis Carmona; and parents. Mrs. Carmona visitation will be held at Templo Cristiano starting at 9:00 AM on Thursday, April 9, 2009. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM in Templo Cristiano Church in Uvalde, Texas with burial to follow in Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Roy Chapa, Jr., Larry Chapa, Richard Chapa, Joe Chapa, Robert Moss, and Rick Chapa. Honorary pallbearer will be Henry Chapa.
