Ernesto Diaz, Sr.

Ernesto B. Diaz, Sr. of Uvalde, Tx. passed away July 4, 2007 at his residence at the age of 57.

He was born September 10, 1949 in Uvalde, Tx. to Federico Maria Diaz. He married Dora Alvarado in Crystal City, Tx. on June 12, 1971.

He is survived by his wife, Dora A. Diaz of Uvalde, Tx.; sons, Ernesto Diaz, Jr. wife, Jazell; John Diaz wife, Lisa Bravo Jerry Diaz, all of Uvalde, Tx.; sisters, Maggie Garcia husband, Mark of Uvalde, Tx.; Aurora Menchaca husband, Arnoldo of Del Rio, Tx.; two grandchildren, Xavier Diaz Matthew Villa; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents three brothers, Rodolfo Diaz; Jose Diaz Fred Diaz, Jr.

A rosary will be held on Thursday Friday at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary at 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 7, 2007 at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
