Ernesto Prado

Ernesto V. Prado of Uvalde passed away on November 15, 2014 at Baptist Medical Hospital in San Antonio, at the age of 71. He was born on May 11, 1943 in Batesville to Francisco and Aurora Vasquez Prado. He married Virginia Ramon in Uvalde on March 21, 1992. He is survived by his wife of Uvalde daughters Sonia Prado and companion Jose Musquiz of Sabinal, Frances Morales and husband Joe and Tanya Prado of Uvalde sons, Ernest Prado, Jr., Jesse Prado and wife Betsy and Gustavo Prado all of Uvalde, Jose Adan Prado and Jose Alfredo Lopez and wife Rocio all of Iowa and Noel Ramon of Austin sister, Hortencia Prado of Batesville brother, Arnulfo Prado of Batesville twentysix grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents daughters, Veronica Prado and Veronica Prado brother, Francisco Prado, Jr. sisters, Minerva Acosta and Teodosa Campos. A rosary will be held on Monday, November 17, 2014 and Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 7:00 pm at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at 2:00 pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
