Ernesto Ramos

Ernesto "Neto or Rocky" L. Ramos of Uvalde passed away on November 22, 2019 in San Antonio at the age of 68.  He was born on September 10, 1951 in Uvalde to Nicasio and Paula (Lopez) Ramos.

He is survived by his companion, Rosie Ramirez of Uvalde; daughters, Cindy Salinas and husband, Mike, Christy Lopez and husband Lupe, Jr., Michelle Ramirez, Roxanne Gonzales and husband, Juan, Laura Ramirez all of Uvalde; sons, Matthew Ramos and companion, Cassandra Mendoza, Ernesto Ramos, Jr., and Joe Ramirez all of Uvalde; sister, Elmira Valdez and husband, Javier of Uvalde; brothers, Nicasio Ramos, Jr. and wife, Margaret of DeFuniak Springs, Florida, Felipe Ramos and wife, Gloria and Patricio Ramos and wife Linda all of Uvalde; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Rolando Ramos, Armando Ramos; granddaughter, Michelle Salinas; aunts, Elsa Quiroga and Irma Perez.

A rosary will be held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.  A funeral mass will be held on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Pallbearers will be Juan Gonzales, Sr, Juan Gonzales, Jr. Austin Lopez, Nicasio Ramos, Felipe Ramos, Jr., and Rolando Ramos, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Castillo and Jeremiah Gonzales.
