Ernestor Rodriguez

Ernestor C. Rodriguez formerly of Batesville passed away at his residence in Austin on July 4, 2012 at the age of 65. He was born on October 31, 1946 in Batesville to Nestor and Antonia Canales Rodriguez. He married Maria Narda Gonzalez in La Pryor, Texas on April 22, 1967. He is survived by his wife of 45 years sons, Nestor Rodriguez III and wife, Jessica of Austin and Berardo Rodriguez and wife Rachael of Buda, Texas daughters, Luz Divina J. Rodriguez, Luzifina R. Hall and husband David both of Austin sisters, Sulema Rodriguez of Batesville, Lydia Rodriguez of San Antonio, Benita Luna and husband Frank of Uvalde, Elida Aguire and husband Alejandro of Batesville and Celia Perez and husband, Ricardo of California 6 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Isadoro Rodriguez and son, Leonel J. Rodriguez. A rosary will be held on Saturday July 7, 2012 and Sunday July 8, 2012 7:00 p.m. at the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Monday July 9, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. St. Josephs Catholic Church in La Pryor. Burial will follow at Batesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jude Luna, Frank Luna Jr., Jimmie Luna, Jacob Ramos, Adam Miller, Luis Puente and Ismael Bryan. Honorary pallbearers will be Antonio Luis Gonzalez, Jose Alfonso Gonzalez, Francisco Luna Sr. and Alejandro Aguire.
