Ervin Hayden

Ervin Doyle Hayden of Uvalde passed away on March 27, 2009 in Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 78. He was born on April 11, 1930 in Borger, TX to Vere and Corda Myers Hayden. He married Betty Johnson in Crystal City, TX on March 30, 1957. He is survived by his wife of 51 years; son and daughter-in-law, Wade and Anne Kenny Hayden of San Antonio; two grandchildren, Meredith Grace Hayden and Joseph Doyle Hayden both of San Antonio; two nieces, Barbara Jean Torrey and family of Henrietta, OK and Lenora Rhodes and family of Pasadena, TX; one nephew, Donald Jones and family of Deer Park, TX; and his mother-in-law, Eunyce Johnson of Uvalde. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at 3:00 PM in Hillcrest Cemetery. Mr. Ray Melton will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Mr. Hayden's coffee drinking bunch.
