Esperanza Borrego

Esperanza Borrego of Sabinal passed away at her residence on Wednesday December 1, 2011 at the age of 83. She was born on August 24, 1928 in Sabinal to Juan and Francisca Ybarra Salinas. She is survived by her daughters, Francisca Ybarra, Diana Silva and husband John both of Sabinal, sons, Gilbert Borrego and wife Mary Lou of San Antonio Richard Borrego and Joe Borrego both of Sabinal sister, Anita Campos of Dexter, New Mexico, brothers, Gilbert Salinas and wife Irene and Richard Salinas both of Idaho, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gilberto Borrego Sr., son, Eluterio Borrego and brothers, Richard Salinas and Juan Ybarra. A rosary will be held on Thursday December 1, 2011 Friday December 2, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rushing Estes Knowles Chapel in Sabinal. Funeral services will be held on Saturday December 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Sabinal. Burial will follow at St. Patricks Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tony Alejandro, Rudy Salinas, Anthony Silva, Tomas Ybarra and A.J. Monte.
