Esperanza Flores

Esperanza C. Flores of La Pryor passed away on January 10, 2014 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on May 11, 1936 in La Pryor, Texas to Manuel and Jacinta Arriola Cruz. She is survived by her daughters, Gloria Perez and husband Javier, Diana Lopez and husband Jesse, Martha Flores all of La Pryor and Sonia Flores and husband Ruben Uriegas of Uvalde sons, Manuel Flores Jr. and wife Janet of Houston and Roberto Flores and wife Elvia of Portland brother, Manuel Cruz Jr. of La Pryor and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents husband, Manuel O. Flores sisters, Olivia Perez and Eva Ortiz and brother, Alejandro Cruz. A rosary was held on Saturday and Sunday at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Mortuary. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Josephs Catholic Church. Burial will follow at La Pryor Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Javier Perez Jr., Jesus Lopez, Manuel Flores III, George Gonzales, Greg Gonzales and Frank Martinez Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Brayden Flores.
