Estanislado Cordova

Estanislado Tanis V. Cordova of Uvalde passed away on August 14, 2011 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center at the age of 86. He was born on November 13, 1924 to Francisco and Antonia Vargas Cordova in Knippa, Texas. He married Maria De Jesus Martinez on July 17, 1943. He is survived by his daughters Maria Martinez and husband Andres, Isabel Rodriguez and Lydia Coronado and husband Armando all of Uvalde. Sons Frank Cordova, Jose Hector Cordova and Arturo Cordova and wife Dora, all of Uvalde. Sister, Maria Neivez Sanchez of Washington, brothers, Valente Cordova, Antonio Cordova, Felix Cordova, Jose Cordova, Salome Cordova, Jesus Cordova, Richard Cordova and Frank Cordova all of Washington, 13 grandchildren, 18 greatgrandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and uncle, Felix Vargas of Washington. He is preceded in death by his wife, grandson Jose Hector Cordova Jr., brothers Savas Cordova and Mike Cordova, sister, Agapita Cordova, greatgrandson, Jordan Alexander Rodriguez. A rosary will be held on Monday August 15, 2011 and Tuesday August 16, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday August 17, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andres Martinez, Armando Coronado, Martin Coronado, Adrian Rodriguez, and Luis Trinidad. Honorary pallbearers will be Lucas Coronado, Justin Gonzalez, Andres Martinez Jr. and Frank Cordova.
