Esteban Salazar

Mr. Esteban O. Salazar of Uvalde passed away June 14, 2007 at Uvalde Memorial Hospital at the age of 78.

He was born January 2, 1929 in Monte Morelos Nuevo Leon to Agustin Rita Salazar.

He is survived by daughters, Idalia Acosta husband, David of Uvalde, Tx.; Josefina Salazar Acosta of Maxwell, Tx.; Rosalinda Isaguirica husband, Jaime of Emporia, Kansas; Reynalda Guadalupe Reyna husband, Enrique of Luling, Tx.; sons, Francisco Salazar wife, Alicia; Arjelio Salazar wife, Berta; Juventino Salazar wife, Maria; Antonio Salazar wife, Vicky, all of Arkansas; brother, Oscar Garcia of Monterrey, Mexico; 37 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Reynalda Salazar; daughter, Veronica Salazar son, Rito Salazar.

A prayer service will be held at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary in Uvalde on Friday at 7:00 pm.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Rushing-Estes-Knowles Chapel at 1:00 pm with Pastor Humberto Renovato officiating.

Arrangements are by Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary.
