Esteban Sanchez

Esteban Cortes Sanchez of Uvalde passed away on October 6, 2011 at Uvalde Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Uvalde at the age of 83. He was born on August 3, 1928 to Anastacio and Magdalena Cortes Sanchez in Mission, Texas. He is survived by his daughters, Magdalena Sanchez of Roseville, Minnesota, Margarita Luna and husband Jacob of Uvalde, Cristina Rendon and husband Domingo of Levelland, Texas sons, Raul Sanchez and wife Oralia of Lubbock, Esteban Sanchez Jr. and wife Leandra of Austin sisters, Juanita Sanchez and Berta Sanchez, both of Saltillo, Coahuila, Mexico grandchildren, Glen A Corbett Jr., Kristina S. Standinglcoud, Amy M. Corbett, Jeremy A. Sanchez, Esteban C. Sanchez III, Irma Eve Williamson, Adan Reynaldo Sanchez, Eduardo Raul Sanchez, Raul Sanchez Jr., Celia A. Sanchez, Daniel A. Sanchez, Jacobo S. Luna II, Anastacio S. Luna, Sharon Nicole Luna, Sharon Nicole Luna, Domingo Rendon Jr. , Cynthia Dee Zuniga, Crystal D. Rendon, James Isaac Rendon, Tracey Andrea Sanchez, Diana Marie Potter and Melissa LaRey Czerwinski, 39 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Petra F. Sanchez sons, Reynaldo Sanchez, Adan Sanchez and Pedro Sanchez, five brothers and four sisters. A prayer service will be held on Sunday October 9, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at the Rushing Estes Knowles Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Monday October 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. the RushingEstesKnowles Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.
